Road closures updated

State Route 650 at its junction with State Route 522 and State Route 141 just west of State Route 378 at Aid in Lawrence County are now open following their closure earlier this week due to flooding; however, the following closures remain in effect:
State Route 141 between the 19.0 and the 22.9-mile markers in the Waterloo area, between Township Road 110 (Zalmon Road) and Township Road 197 (Coffee Tea Road) and at the Gallia County line.
State Route 217 between the 5.9 and the 6.5-mile markers, at its intersections with State Route 378;
State Route 218 at the 2.4-mile marker and Gallia County line;
State Route 243, from approximately the 11.0 to the 18.0-mile markers, at multiple locations between County Road 30 (Leatherwood Road) and State Route 7 at Bradrick; and
State Route 378, from the 1.0-mile marker, north of State Route 243, to the 9.0-mile marker and State Route 141 at Aid.
These closures are in effect until further notice, and motorists will need to seek alternate routes They are advised that crossing any route which has been closed is strictly prohibited and to use additional caution when traveling over any route which remains open but where standing water may be present.
In addition, State Route 327 in Jackson County is closed near the 12.0-mile marker and the northern corporation limit of Wellston due to a culvert washout and collapsed pavement. The route will be closed until such time that a project to repair the route can be designed and constructed. Motorists are being detoured via State Route 93, State Route 683 and U.S. 50.
