Buckeye Trail important

The Buckeye Trail Association had a work week in Adams County June 6-10. About 20 members constructed about nine-tenths of a mile of new trail in the Sunshine Corridor for wildlife, which links property at the edge of Appalachia Preserve with Shawnee State Forest.
The Buckeye Trail currently runs along several roads in the area, including along Sunshine Ridge and Waggoner Riffle. Nice as the roads are, the new trail will offer even more scenic forest vistas and a more natural biking experience.
The Buckeye Trail Association maintains about 1,400 miles of hiking trails circling through Ohio in more than 40 counties.

The next work week in Adams County is June 27-July 1. Workers are welcome
