Receiving stolen property — 100 block Township Road 1206, Proctorville, March 8, man alleged checks from closed account written in his name; Casie Taylor, 29, of 1097 County Road 1 Apt. 35, South Point, cited for receiving stolen property.

Falsification, operating a motor vehicle without a license, failure to control — 300 block Township Road 336, Ironton, March 8, man ran off the road onto someone’s property and told deputies he was not the driver; Nathaniel Marshall, 19, of 193 Township Road 208, Ironton, arrested.

Menacing, disorderly conduct — A private drive in Chesapeake, March 8, man allegedly taking neighbor’s property and trying to dispose of it; suspect allegedly drunk; James Baker, 48, of 38 Private Drive 125, Chesapeake, arrested.

Petty theft — 3500 block County Road 12, Proctorville, March 1, video camera, two tree stands taken.

Assault — 10000 block County Road 1, Chesapeake, March 2, woman alleged man tried to hit her while she was holding her baby; suspect named.

Petty theft — A private drive in Proctorville, March 3, gun taken from residence; suspect named.

Aggravated burglary, petty theft — 20 block Township Road 1008, Chesapeake, March 3, TV, Playstation III, cell phone, wallet with ID and credit cards taken from residence.

Criminal damaging — 2800 block Township Road 220, Willow Wood, March 3, truck window broken.

Failure to change address — March 4, habitual sex offender allegedly failed to notify a change of address, David Rowe, 38, arrested.

Domestic violence — A private drive off County Road 26 in Ironton, March 7, woman alleged husband hit her in the head with an unknown object, pushed her down and threatened to kill her; negative contact with suspect.
