South Point man killed on U.S. 52

SOUTH POINT— A South Point man was struck and killed Thursday night on U.S. 52.
“At about 9:03 last night, Warren Hong, 51, was hit .7 of a mile east of the Lick Creek intersection,” Sgt. Chris Smith, of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, said.
Hong was transported to St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington where he was pronounced dead at about 1:15 a.m. Friday.
Linda Turvey, 55, of Pedro, was traveling westbound on U.S. 52 when the vehicle she was driving hit Hong.
“Right now, the incident is still under investigation,” Smith said. “The Ohio State Patrol Crash Reconstruction Unit is investigating the case.”
