COAL GROVE — The Reach Group at the Coal Grove Memorial United Methodist Church is sponsoring a Christmas bazaar to raise money for a new heating and cooling system.
“We have worked for the last several years raising money for a new furnace for the church,” Linda McKnight, Roach Group president, said. “The present one is more than 50 years old so we are trying to get one step ahead.”
The bazaar is 10 a.m.-2 p.m. this Saturday in the cafetorium at Dawson-Bryant High School.
“We will be serving lunch,” McKnight said. “We have 17 vendors that will be selling crafts, homemade candies and baked goods.”
Potato soup, broccoli soup, chicken noodle soup, hot dogs, chicken salad croissants, desserts, coffee and soft drinks will be available.
