Portsmouth-based country music group Shane Runion Band with special guest Julie Reeves will perform at the Ro-Na Theater this Friday.

Their new single “Two Piece” has more than 43,000 views on YouTube and this past week it was announced via the Shane Runion Band Facebook page the group will soon head to Nashville to spend some time in the studio

“We wanted to officially let everyone know we’ll be recording again in Nashville with Jason Aldean’s band and production team, New Voice Entertainment,” according to the Facebook post. “We’re so excited to be working with these folks in Nashville to bring you all more songs. We’ll keep you updated.”

Formed in 2011, the band is Runion on guitar and vocals, Scott Artis on bass and vocals, Tony Phillips on guitar and Boone Brabson on drums and vocals.

Tickets for the show are $10 and can be purchased at www.ro-natheater.com, Party Connection and The Ritz in Portsmouth and Glockner South Point Ford.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show, presented by 93.7 The Dawg, begins at 7:30 p.m.
