Second-half tax bills are in the mail and should be received by county property owners by the weekend, according to county treasurer Stephen Burcham.
“If they don’t have a tax bill by June 6, they should contact our office,” Burcham said.
Property owners can pay in the treasurer’s office, online or at local banks, excluding PNC, WesBanco and Ohio Valley.
“Ohio Valley is leaving South Point near the Walmart so there is no longer an account there,” Burcham said.
First-half taxes this year exceeded prior years and brought in approximately $17 million.
Second half collections are usually less because some property owners pay both halves at the first of the year.
These taxes are due by July 18.
