Kevin Johnson
Kevin Lyle Johnson, 52, of Ironton, died Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013, at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Ironton. The Wilmington native was born March 24, 1961, the son of William and Phyllis Maynard Johnson. He is survived by his wife, Paula Roach Johnson.
Mr. Johnson attended Ironton High School. He was an avid hunter, enjoyed NASCAR, ATV riding and the Ohio State Buckeyes.
In addition to his parents and wife, he is survived by three sons, Bryan Lawless, of Ironton, Jay Yesker, of Baltimore, Md., and Mike Terry, of Ironton; five daughters, Ashlee Johnson, of Ashland, Ky., Heather (Dave) Malone, of Kitts Hill, Megan Johnson, of Lexington, Ky., Laura Terry and Leah Terry, of Ironton; five grandchildren; two sisters, Jeanette (John) Lynn, of Ironton, and Christy Shears, of Kitts Hill; and a brother, Keith Johnson, of Ironton.

Harry Corns
Harry Clifton Corns, 72, of Willow Wood, passed away Sunday, Nov. 24, 2013, at his residence. The Lawrence County native was born Nov. 20, 1941, the son of the late George Morris Corns and Geneva Large Corns. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Sue Taylor Corns, whom he married Sept. 17, 1992.
Mr. Corns attended Dawson Bryant High School. He was a self-employed mechanic and of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Johnny Ray Davis.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Annetta Taylor, of South Point; a brother, George “Junior” Corns, of Stevens, Pa.; a sister, Vickie Thompson, of Ironton; and 10 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Phillips Funeral Home with the Rev. Calvin Ray Evans officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery and visitation will be today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Fred Black
Fred Black, 64, of Proctorville, died Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013, at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, W.Va. A graveside service will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Crown City Cemetery, Crown City, by Pastor Buddy Muncy and Pastor George Holley. Frances Virginia Stamper, 95, of Charleston, W.Va., died Sunday, Nov. 24, 2013, at Regency Place, Scott Depot, W.Va. A private family graveside service will be held at Spring Hill Cemetery, Charleston, W.Va. Hall Funeral Home in Proctorville is in charge of arrangements.
