An Ironton couple arrested last week on felony drug charges was indicted by a Lawrence County grand jury.

Terry Lee Gannon Jr., 40, of 480 County Road 7C, was charged with one second-degree and three third-degree counts of trafficking in drugs (oxycodone).

Cindy Gannon, 34, of the same address, was charged with four misdemeanor counts of endangering children and one fifth-degree count of possession of drugs.

The couple was arrested Friday after officers from the Lawrence Drug and Major Crimes Task Force and the sheriff’s office executed a search warrant for the Gannons’ address.

According to a press release from Prosecuting Attorney Brigham Anderson’s office, five times over the past 30 days the task force allegedly bought oxycodone from Terry Gannon.

Also indicted this week was a jail inmate who allegedly attacked a deputy and kicked a window from a sheriff’s cruiser during transport.

Roger Allen Wallace, 51, of 409 Buckhorn St., was indicted on charges of third-degree tampering with evidence, third-degree trafficking in drugs (oxycodone), fifth-degree possession of drugs, third-degree escape and fifth-degree vandalism.

Others indicted this week, according to the office of Prosecuting Attorney Brigham Anderson, are:

• Jason Schwartz, 39, of 58 Private Drive 622, South Point, felonious assault;

• Chaz McCoy, 23, of 223 Township Road 1186 Apt. 2, South Point, felonious assault;

• Gary Rice Jr., 22, of 140 Private Drive 3367, South Point, robbery;

• Leigha Maynard, 20, of 2988 County Road 2, Chesapeake, robbery;

• Richard Rice, 20, of 3325 County Road 59, Chesapeake, burglary;

• Kenneth Buskirk, 35, of 428 Washington Ave., Huntington, W.Va., grand theft;

• Dana Holly, 32, of 1818 Rear Oak St., Kenova, W.Va., complicity to grand theft;

• Bridget Stump, 28, of 216 A. Gullet Road, Franklin Furnace, trafficking in drugs (suboxone);

• Paul Abram, 28, of 1707 S. Fourth St., Ironton, identity fraud;

• Shawn DeLong, 36, of 264 Private Road 349, Ironton, grand theft, receiving stolen property;

• Mike Rucker, 53, of 2533 S. Sixth St., Ironton, burglary;

• Shannon Lewis, 31, of 912 County Road 119, Ironton, theft of drugs, two counts of possession of drugs;

• Devin Ross, 21, of 3123 S. Fourth St., Ironton, receiving stolen property, driving while under the influence of drugs or alcohol, driving under suspension;

• David Large, 31, of 2603 N. Second St., Hanging Rock, tampering with evidence, possession of drugs, misdemeanor counts of possession of drugs, theft and possession of marijuana.
