The Myers family announces the golden anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Donnie and Kay Myers of Waterloo. The couple will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on June 1, 2013, with family.

Myers and the former Kay Herrell were married June, 1, 1963, at the residence of Rex and Doris Herrell in Arabia by the Rev. Earl Hinkle.

The couple has one son and three daughter, Gene (Tammie) Myers of Waterloo, Debbie (Jeff) Saunders of Scottown, Lisa (Keith) Williams of Kitts Hill and Donna Myers of Huntington, W.Va.

The Myers have eight grandchildren, Cassie (Nick) Lunsford, Kelsie (Drew) Keuhne, Cody Myers, Kayla (Cory) Burcham, Kendra (Kyle) Meadows, Kara Saunders, Michael Williams and Bridgette Williams. They also have one great-grandchild, Myer Lunsford.
