Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Jenkins of Ironton announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Jenkins, to Chad Bowman, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Randy Bowman of Ironton.

The wedding will be Dec. 1, 2012, at Ironton First Church of the Nazarene. The reception will be at the Knights of Columbus.

The bride-to-be is a 2007 graduate of Rock Hill High School and a 2012 graduate of Ohio University with a bachelor’s degree is education. She is a teacher at the Lawrence County Early Childhood Academy.

The groom-elect is a 2003 graduate of Ironton High School. He works at Eagle Distribution (Spriggs).
