Soon and very soon, in order to renew our driver’s license, we may have to provide a birth certificate, social security card, two forms to prove residency, marriage certificate and divorce decrees.

I can understand tracking illegal aliens and would be terrorists but why would someone who has had a license for 50 years, in the same state, have to prove who they are?

I think this is the most ridiculous thing someone has come up with.

It is just another way to get money out of people who are unemployed or living on a fixed income and can hardly buy food.

Can someone please tell me why this applies to everyone?
