Bob Rodriguez
Norberto Bob Gabriel Rodriguez, 73, of Ironton passed away on Saturday, April 14, 2012, at the Community Hospice Center in Ashland, Ky. The Puerto Rico native was born in Utuado on Feb. 8, 1939, the son of Dolores Gabriel Rodriquez and the late Esther Rodriguez Reyes.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years Diana Sue Goodrich Rodriguez. Bob retired from Ashland Petroleum and was the owner of Super Wash Coin Laundry in Ironton and South Point. He was of the Baptist faith, a member of the Elks Lodge #177, VFW Post #8850 and the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 701.
He was an avid fisherman and loved camping and trips to Lake Erie. In addition to his mother he was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Gabriel Rodriguez; three brothers: Luis, Moises and Tony; and his mother and father-in-law, Thelma and Wilford Goodrich.
In addition to his wife and father he is survived by a son, Norberto, Jr. (Renee Earnest) of Jackson, Tenn.; a daughter Kimberly (Phil) Goodman of Bolivar, Tenn.; a grandson, Brandon Goodman of Grand Valley Lake, Tenn; a granddaughter, Candace (Craig) Collins of Middleton, Tenn.; a great -grandson, Gage Collins of Middleton, Tenn.; brother, Carlos (Rose) of Utuado; sisters: Edith (Modesto) of Utuado, Petra and Fioldaliza of Newark, NJ; brother-in-law Mike (Maria Gollihugh) Goodrich of Ironton; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. today at the Tracy Brammer-Monroe Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Harvey officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery, section 10. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at the funeral home. Donations may be made to Sharon Baptist Church, 2010 S. David Chinn
David E. “Bubba” Chinn, Sr., 61, of South Point, passed away Sunday April 15, 2012, at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Rev. Pete Chinn. Entombment will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. He was born Oct. 13, 1950, in Huntington, W.Va., a son of the late Ercle Eugene and Joanne Fetty Chinn.
He was a retired special finance manager with Moses Automotive. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Ercle and Irene Chinn; maternal grandparents Dallas and Harriett Fetty; brother Greg Chinn and sister Joyce McQuaid. Survivors include his wife of 20 years Melody Chinn; four sons and three daughters in law David Eugene Chinn, Jr. and his wife Cyndie of Ghent, W.Va., Brian and Laura Chinn, Adam and Misty Chinn and Brandon Chinn, all of South Point; two stepsons Nathan Pettit and his wife Rosie Pettit of Frankfort, Ohio, and Justin Pettit of Piketon; grandchildren, Shelby, Trevor, Lexie, Skylar, Davey, Trenton, Gabby, Lakin, Hunter, Ava and Alivia Chinn and Lexie and Lanie Pettit and his sister Karen Pauley of Lancaster.

Deana White-Barber
Deana Lynn White-Barber, 48, of Ironton, passed away Monday April 16, 2012, at her residence. The Ironton native was born April 6, 1964, the daughter of Richard and Martha Carol Morrison of Ironton. She is also survived by her husband, Michael Barber.
Deana was a graduate of Ironton High School and a former cake decorator for Pick and Save for 22 years. She was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is also survived by a daughter, Amber White of Ironton; a son and daughter-in-law, Nathan and Tammy White of Ironton; a brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Peggy Morrison of Ironton; one grandchild and one on the way.

Joe Allen
Joe Allen, 78, of Ironton, died Monday, April 16, 2012, at his home. He was the husband of Lisa Allen, who survives. Arrangements are pending at Phillips Funeral Home.

Cynthia Jane Stover, 41, of Huntington, W.V., died Friday, April 15, 2012, at St. Mary’s Medical Center. A private family service will be held. Arrangements are by Hall Funeral Home.
Jason Morgan
Jason D. Morgan, 39, of Ironton, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2012, at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Ky.
Mr. Morgan was born May 6, 1972, in Ashland, a son of Robert Morgan of Fairfield and Barbara Sanders Clark of Jackson.
Mr. Morgan was a devoted father of three children, loving husband and a proud Eagle Scout.
He graduated from Coal Grove High School in 1990 and from Ohio University in 1994 with a bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Samuel “Bob” Morgan and Thomas Sanders.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving wife of 10 years, Rebecca Jenkins Morgan; three children, Natasha Rose Morgan, Nathanial Allen Morgan, and Natalia Alicia Morgan; a sister, Alicia Robin Large and her husband, Mike, of Coal Grove; paternal grandmother, Alice “Rose” Morgan of Rock Camp; and maternal grandmother, Bernice Cohen of Charleston , W.Va.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Bailey Family Funeral Home in Flatwoods with Pastor Mark Bales officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery in Ironton. The visitation will be Wednesday from 6 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Bonnie Kathy Price, 62, of Flatwoods, Ky., died Sunday, April 15, 2012, at St. Mary’s Medical Center. She was the wife of John Price Sr., who survives. There will be no services. Evans Funeral Home in Raceland, Ky., is in charge of arrangements.
