MANCHESTER – Brooms, please.

The Green Lady Bobcats swept a doubleheader from the Manchester Lady Greyhounds 16-3 and 8-4 on Saturday.

Jenna Crawford had a big day as she went 7-for-9 on the day including 4-4 in the nightcap. Green had 13 hits in the first game and 11 in the second.

“She’s hitting the ball really well. We hit the ball better as a team,” said Green coach Dale Royse.

In the first game, Micah Lewis 2-3 and five runs batted in, Kayla McCallister 2-3 and three RBI, Krashawna Jones 2-3 and three RBI, Erin Imes 2-4 and three RBI and Crawford 3-5 with two triples.

Crawford also got the win with a six-hitter. She struck out four and walked one.

It was more of the same for Crawford in the second game as she went 4-4 and got the win as she fanned three, walked one and gave up four hits.

Emma Salisbury was 2-3 with two RBI and Pernia Fisher was 1-2. McCallister added two RBI.

Green (2-3) plays at Symmes Valley on Monday.
