After briefly setting up business in South Point, the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Ironton Close To Home Center has a home once again in Ironton.

The entity is now at 2301 S. Seventh St., in an office space formerly occupied by Dr. Jerry Mayer. The children’s center was located on South Third Street next door to the suite once occupied by the U.S. Social Security Administration, which has also been relocated.

According to a prepared statement, Close To Home will continue to offer cardiology, neurology and urology clinics in addition to ChildLab laboratory services to the Lawrence County community.

Nationwide Children’s Close To Home Centers offer community-based testing, treatment and care for children and families depending on the needs of the community at convenient locations.
