Suspicious people — 700 block South Fourth Street, 7:35 p.m. Saturday, four juveniles in black hoodies lurking about, left prior to officer’s arrival.

Fight — 300 block North Sixth Street, 8:43 p.m. Saturday, woman assaulted.

Pedestrian struck — 1500 block South Third Street, 10:13 p.m. Saturday, victim taken to hospital, declined to file charges.

Unwanted person — 1800 block South Fourth Street, 2:38 a.m. Sunday, girlfriend of ex husband allegedly pestering woman, refusing to leave, moved on.

Vandalism — 1900 block Liberty Avenue, 10:14 a.m. Sunday, tires on car cut.

Theft — 2200 block North Third Street, 5:11 p.m. Sunday, four-wheeler, dirt bike taken.

Assault — 800 block South 10th Street, 5:34 p.m. Sunday, child struck.

Suspicious activity — 600 block South Fifth Street 9:04 p.m. Sunday, attempted break-in.

Theft — Private Drive 754, Ironton, 3:12 p.m. Dec. 15, tattoo equipment taken, not returned, suspect named, items located and returned to owner.

Domestic — Chesapeake Middle School Saturday, woman, man allegedly assaulted, Deven Booth, 45, 307 Fourth St., E., South Point, arrested and taken to jail.

Domestic — Union Township, 5:17 a.m. Sunday, woman allegedly menaced, Jason G. McGuire, 40, Ashland, Ky., arrested and taken to jail.

Domestic — Perry Township, 10:29 a.m. Sunday, man allegedly in possession of loaded rifle, threatening suicide, allegedly overdosed on medication, woman hit on leg by household items thrown at her, subject located in bedroom with loaded shotgun by sheriff’s deputies, scuffled with deputies while being arrested, Clyde Merrell, 36, 2331 block County Road 6, Ironton, arrested and taken to jail.
