Taylor helps Bobcats pull away from A&T

ATHENS (AP) — Stevie Taylor scored a career-high 19 points and Ohio pulled away from North Carolina A&T 82-66 Friday night.
Ohio (11-1) has won seven straight games and is off to its best start since 1940-41.
Taylor knocked down a career-high five 3-pointers en route to 7-of-11 shooting.
Ohio entered the second half leading 42-39 before Walter Offut sparked a 14-6 run to give the Bobcats a 56-45 lead with 16:08 left to play. Offut scored seven points during the run.
North Carolina A&T (4-10) has lost six straight after winning four in a row.
After allowing 39 points in the first half, Ohio held the Aggies to only 27 in the second half. The Bobcats improve to 48-15 when holding opponents under 70 points.
The Aggies entered the game shooting 40 percent from the field but improved on that against the Bobcats, hitting 55.8 percent of their shots (24 of 43).
