For just a few lines, I can agree with Jim Crawford. Most Americans have asked for a balanced budget. They want our country to be able to stay in business.

However, the rest of his article is so misleading.

Here’s where we part company on regular columnist Crawford’s most recent article. It is the Democrats who still have control of the Senate and haven’t passed a budget since President Obama took office.

They are the “print money and spend your way to prosperity” party. They have a proven record that they, the Democrats, don’t care if America goes bankrupt.

Crawford says the Republicans want to cut Social Security and Medicare. Well, if you check, it was Democrats all who agreed to cut $5 billion out of seniors’ Medicare, which passed without a single Republican voting for it.

It is easy to sit in a big chair and talk about what you think, but the facts are quite different.

You will see as insurance premiums have gone up with “Obamacare,” drugs cost more, less coverage, our rising national debt, stopping jobs from happening, (the pipeline and over 20,000 jobs). Obama wants to do away with coal and no more drilling for oil. Gasoline, food, energy, everything is going up under Obama. And he wants the gasoline to be even higher in hopes that we will drive less.

Just when have the Democrats cut any program, no matter how bad they are?

This is how they have stayed in power for so long, just ignore the national debt. Maybe we can spend our way out of debt.

So, if you want to see our country go broke, vote Democratic and we will not survive another four years. We could be bankrupt by the end of Obama’s first term.

Don’t say you weren’t warned. You will not be able to blame Bush. He has been out of office for more than three years and we have gone in debt under Obama nearly  another $5 trillion dollars in just three years.

So if you want to save our country vote Republican. If not, then vote Democratic.
