Petty theft – 800 block of County Road 180, Ironton, Aug. 22, man reports $200 in quarters missing along with two laptop computers. Suspect named.
Passing bad checks – 2100 block of County Road 107, Chesapeake, Aug. 25, woman reports receiving two bad checks. Suspect named.
Assault – 1000 block of County Road 1, South Point Saturday, woman alleged boyfriend shoved and slapped her, pulled her hair. Suspect named.
Theft – Township Road 1192, Proctorville, Aug. 21, woman reports riding mower stolen from back yard.
Theft – 47 Private Drive 851, South Point, July 25, man reports his son used checks without his permission. Suspect named.
Burglary – County Road 7E, Ironton, Saturday, woman reports several items missing from her home. Suspect named.
Theft – Township Road 1123, Proctorville, Saturday, man reports four-wheeler stolen.
Petty theft – 9100 block of State Route 775, Scottown Saturday, several feet of copper line reportedly stolen.
Petty theft – 1300 block of County Road 73, Crown City Friday, man reports pistol taken from his kitchen counter.
Petty theft, vandalism – 12900 block of County Road 2, Willow Wood Friday, church reportedly broken into, glass door busted, pry marks on doors. Copper lines reportedly taken.
Breaking and entering – 200 block of Randall Street, South Point, Aug. 18, vacant house reportedly broken into, cooling and heating until reportedly taken.
Ironton police
Fight — 500 block South Fifth Street, 12:02 a.m. Sunday, advised if officers return, someone will go to jail, second call 12:28 p.m., one man taken to police station, third call 1:11 a.m., one man taken to jail, officers advised if they return again they will make a complete sweep of entire apartment.
Assault — Taco Bell, Ironton Hills Shopping Center, 12:14 a.m. Sunday, someone assaulted.
Destroying house — 1500 block South Fourth Street, 2:43 a.m. Sunday, people in vacant house tearing it up.
Theft — Speedway, Eighth Street and Park Avenue, 1:53 p.m. Sunday, two beers stolen, suspect chased, beer returned, description given.
Domestic — 1700 block Karin Street, 5:36 p.m. Sunday, woman slapped, 14-year-old boy taken to group home.
Fight — VFW, South Third Street, 11:07 p.m. Sunday, subject left in taxi, others advised.

— Stephen B. Siders, 23, Columbus, outstanding warrants, criminal damaging Sunday by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office.
— Jessica Ferguson, 21, 114 Cedar St., South Point, domestic violence Saturday by the South Point Police Department.
