George and Rhonda Aldridge of Ironton celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary Aug. 25.

They were married Aug. 25, 1971 in Russell, Ky.

Mr. Aldridge is the son of the late Van and Betty Aldridge. He was retired from BFI.

Mrs. Aldridge is the daughter of Ronald and Charlene Jenkins of Ironton. She is employed at River’s Bend Health Care.

They attend Sharon Baptist Church.

They are the parents of George Jr., and Todd. They also have four grandchildren.
