Four members of the Collins Career Center Future Farmers of America competed in the American Paint Horse World Judging Contest on June 26th in Fort Worth Texas.
The team advanced to the national level contest due to their success in statewide invitational contests and top 5 placing in Ohio FFA Equine Finals competition.
Students from across the country meet in this annual competition to judge top quality horses in classes of conformation and performance. The competition is held in the historic stockyards district of Fort Worth where the FFA members also visited the rodeo, ranch tours, cattle drive and places of interest in the area.
This year’s team placed 12th overall in the competition from a group of 30 teams.
