Petty theft – Township Road 1512, South Point, Monday, man reports lawn mower stolen.
Breaking and entering – Township Road 1086, South Point, Wednesday, man reports his vehicle and outbuilding were broken into during night. Missing items include tools, meats and fishing poles.
Petty theft – 1000 block of County Road 1, South Point, July 7, woman reports patio furniture, grill stolen.
Criminal damage – 1200 block of County Road 70, Proctorville, Wednesday, man reports his truck window was smashed. Suspect named.
Petty theft – 300 block of Private Drive 288, South Point, Wednesday, woman allegedly concealed items and did not pay for them in Walmart. Amanda R. Robertson, 31, of 3250 Hughes St., Huntington, W.Va., arrested.
Theft – South Point June 30, man allegedly pawning items that belonged to his employer. Suspect named.
Assault – 3700 County Road 64, Willow Wood, Tuesday, woman reports being bitten in the hand. Nathan E. Ferris, 47, of 2858 County Road 64, Willow Wood, arrested.
Theft – 4600 block of County Road 52, Ironton, Saturday, woman reports jewelry taken from safe.

Trouble – 2400 block of South Sixth Street, 3:46 a.m. Wednesday, woman reportedly banging on door and refusing to leave. Released to parent.
Suspicious person – 9:37 a.m. Wednesday, man and dog reportedly under bridge. Negative contact.
Breaking and entering – 500 block of North Fifth Street, 11:12 a.m. Wednesday, house reportedly broken into.
Domestic – Second and Etna Street, 2:01 p.m. Wednesday, man reportedly hit woman. EMS to hospital. One to sheriff’s office.
Shots fired – Fifth and Washington, 5:25 p.m. Wednesday. Negative contact.
Domestic – 800 block of North Fifth Street, 6 p.m. Wednesday, man and woman reportedly fighting. No domestic, father looking for child.
Theft – 6:18 p.m. Wednesday, woman reports iPod stolen.
