Carol Jean Huff, 63, of Ironton, passed away Sunday, June 19, 2011, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Ky. The Ironton native was born Nov. 2, 1947, the daughter of the late Ernie and Elsie Wilson White. She is survived by her husband, Clarence Huff, whom she married March 23, 1966.
Mrs. Huff was a 1965 graduate of South Point High School and a homemaker and farmer. She was also employed at Huff Farm Equipment and a member of the Bride of Christ United Baptist Church in Chesapeake.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a special mother, Hazel Darlene White. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Shannon Heaberlin of Kitts Hill; son and daughter-in-law, Shane and Megan Huff of Kitts Hill; four grandchildren: Hunter Huff, Corey Heaberlin, Trevor Heaberlin, and Braden Heaberlin; two sisters: Connie Franklin of South Point, and Sandy Fowler of Amhurst; and special friends, Joann Hughes and Jean Bowman.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Phillips Funeral Home, with Pastor Heron Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens.
