Tim and Dee Rucker, of Proctorville, are pleased to announce the marriage of their son, Matthew Hite Rucker, to Marissa Renee Barnhart, daughter of Michael and Tina Barnhart, of Avon.

Matthew is a 2003 graduate of Chesapeake High School and a 2007 graduate of Marietta College. He is employed as a reservoir engineer at Chesapeake Energy in Oklahoma City, Okla.

Marissa is a 2004 graduate of Avon High School and a 2007 graduate of Marietta College. She is office manager at Fast Enterprises Inc., in Oklahoma City, Okla.

The couple was married at Avon United Methodist Church at 4:30 p.m. on May 28. The Rev. John Butchko officiated. A reception followed at Wagner’s Country Inn in Westlake.
