Theft — County Road 71, Proctorville, April 1, woman reports shotgun taken.
Assault — Fairland Middle School, Thursday, principal reports two students fighting in hallway, parents of victim took son to hospital, other student taken to group home.
Domestic violence — County Road 36, Chesapeake, Wednesday, husband and wife were fighting when man alleges he was hit with skillet. Lisa A. Lucas, 46, 564 County Road 36, Chesapeake, arrested for domestic violence and taken to jail.
Ironton police
Intoxication — North Second Street, 3:47 a.m. Wednesday, man walking allegedly intoxicated, given a summons. When police tried to take him home, he allegedly became combative, charged with resisting arrest.
Noise — Orchard Hollow, 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, woman reports neighbor revving up car engine, advised.
Dispute — 2800 block of South 11th Street, 3:28 p.m. Wednesday, woman reports neighbor puts tires against fence, all advised.
Suicide attempt – 3000 block of South Fourth Street, 5:34 p.m. Wednesday, man reports friend texted with suicide threat, address given doesn’t exist, unable to trace.
Welfare — 800 block of South 10th Street, 1:40 a.m. Thursday, children left alone all night, children’s services contacted.
