PEDRO – Chloe Delong, 77, of Pedro, died Thursday, March 31, 2011, at her residence. The Scioto County native was born June 17, 1933, the daughter of the late Mark Toland and Lucy Stacy Toland Fox.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Delong, whom she married Dec. 18, 1966.

Mrs. Delong attended South Webster High School. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Billy Shope; grandson, Tommy Thompson; granddaughter, Kay Owens; and first husband, William “Hooper” Shope.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters and a son-in-law: Betty Thompson of Ironton, Trish Delong, and Doris and Scott Cattell all of Pedro;

a son and daughter-in-law: John and Tammy Shope of Deshler; two brothers and a sister-in-law: Arnold and Louise Stacy of Pedro and Arlis Stacy of Scioto County;

11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 S. Seventh St., Ironton, with Richard Stiles officiating. Burial will follow in Vernon Cemetery and visitation will be Sunday from 6 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home. At the family’s request, donations can be made to Phillips Funeral Home, P.O.
