Greenbo Lake to host international classic cuisine Irish night

GREENUP, Ky. — Greenbo Lake State Resort Park will be hosting its International Classic Cuisine Irish Night on March 5.
The park’s Anglers’ Cove Restaurant menu will feature shepherd’s pie; Dublin coddle; carved corn beef; baked Irish chicken; Irish colcannon; kraut and onions; green beans with redskin potatoes; turnip greens and bacon; rice pilaf; mashed potatoes; Irish potato and white bean soups; Irish soda bread; catfish; cornbread; assorted Irish desserts; pudding; and cobbler.
The buffet will be served from 5 to 8 p.m. Adults are $14.99 and children $6.99. Drinks, tax and tip not included.
The park will host Mexican Night at the restaurant on April 2.
Greenbo Lake State Resort Park is on KY 1, 18 miles north of I-64 from Grayson exit or 8 miles south of U.S. 23, the Country Music Highway on KY 1. Greenbo Lake features the Jesse Stuart Lodge with 36 rooms, a convention center and Anglers’ Cove Restaurant.
