Breaking and entering — Township Road 1043, Chesapeake, Feb. 9, man reports back door window in house broken, gas wall heater missing, holes in walls and profanity written on walls.

Theft — Petland, South Point, Feb. 10, store reports $1,100 worth of Frontline flea spray taken.

Assault — Dawson-Bryant Middle School, Feb. 7, student allegedly hit in head with pop bottle and punched by two other students. Suspects named.

Domestic violence — County Road 15, South Point, Feb. 11, woman alleges 11-year-old son swung at her and threatened to kill himself. Juvenile taken to hospital.

Petty theft – Walmart, South Point, Feb. 11, three juveniles allegedly take condoms from store without paying for them, released to parents, probate court advised.

Telephone harassment — County Road 70, Proctorville, Feb. 11, woman alleges family friend calls cell phone making threats.

Assault — Township Road 84, Willow Wood, Feb. 11, man alleges another man grabs him by throat. Wayne A. Freeman, 47, 61 Township Road 84 W., Willow Wood, arrested for assault and taken to jail.

Theft — Township Road 1389, Chesapeake, Feb. 12, man reports saw and laser sight taken from garage.

Ironton Police

Theft – Third and Pleasant streets, 6:36 a.m. Monday, items taken from truck parked at old AEP building.

Trouble — 2800 block of South Sixth Street, 7:55 a.m. Monday, woman wants daughter removed from house. Father takes daughter to foster home.

Trouble — JAB lounge, 10:36 p.m. Monday, lounge reports man and woman come to establishment saying they want to file charges.
