IPD looking for robbery suspect

The Ironton Police Department is searching for a man who allegedly robbed an Ironton business Monday evening.
According to a press release from the police department, a white male entered the Family Dollar Store on North Second Street at 9:04 p.m. The suspect came into the store as employees were attempting to close it for the evening, Detective Chris Bowman said.
He indicated to employees that he had a weapon and then left with an undetermined amount of cash, Bowman said.
The suspect is described as a 5-foot-9 or 5-foot-10 man with medium build. He was wearing a dark coat, jeans and a mask.
