Community support made ‘White Christmas’
Published 10:08 am Friday, December 10, 2010
I would like to thank all of those who assisted with White Christmas, a Green High School service project to provide Christmas presents for children in our school district.
The students of the GHS Service Learning class worked diligently to raise money for this project and I thank them for all of their hard work and dedication.
I would also like thank the administration, teachers and support staff at Green Local Schools for giving their time and making donations to assist with many of our fundraisers.
In addition, I would like to thank Keith Salisbury and the employees of Big Sandy Distribution, Inc. for their generous donation.
Also, thank you to Stiltner Distributing, Charter One Bank, Ironton Giovanni’s, and Papa John’s in Ironton for giving to our project.
Last, but certainly not least, I would like to thank the community members for their donations and support. We have truly been blessed by your generosity and giving this Christmas!
