Frances M. Maxwell

SOUTH POINT — Frances M. Maxwell,74, of South Point, passed from this life, Saturday, Dec. 4, 2010, in Hospice House of Huntington.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens, South Point. Frances was born Oct. 7, 1936, a daughter of the late George and Mary Belle Rodgers Lomax.
She was a member of the Church of Christ in Catlin, Ill., an avid bowler, enjoyed sending greeting cards, and enjoyed her four-legged friend, Cricket.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard Hartman. Frances is survived by her husband, Loren B. Maxwell; two children, Debra Ann Burge of South Point and L. Allen (Tonia) Maxwell of Barnesville, Ga.; one stepson, Kevin Hartman of Indianapolis, Ind.; four grandchildren whom she enjoyed the most, Christopher E. Burge, Nicholas D. Burge, Connor A. Maxwell, and Delaney A. Maxwell; one sister, Lucille Minniss; one nephew, Steve; one brother, Chet (Rosa) Lomax; two nieces, Tracy and Elizabeth; her stepmother, Mildred Lomax; her close neighborhood friends; and a special friend, Lil Adkins.
