Edward “Eddie” Lee Thibodaux

Edward “Eddie” Lee Thibodaux, 40, of Ironton, died Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2010, at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, W.Va. The Ironton native was born July 28, 1970, the son of Josa Lewis Thibodaux Corbin of Ironton and the late Albert Thibodaux.

Eddie attended Rock Hill High School and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a son, Shannon Thibodaux; a sister, Lisa Thibodaux; a brother, Vic Shannon Thibodaux; and maternal grandparents, Joe and Alma Lewis.

He is survived by his fiancée, Bertha Birchfield of Ironton; his stepfather, Terry Corbin of Ironton; two daughters, K.T. Thibodaux and Jessica Thibodaux, both of Ironton; sister, Paula Thibodaux of Ironton; brother, Tony Thibodaux of Ironton; and half sister, Flossie Lambert of Coal Grove.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Phillips Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Russell and Rev. Richard Carter officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery. Friends may call today from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home. To offer condolences, please visit www.phillipsfuneralhome.net.
