Kenneth “Kenny” Lee French

IRONTON – Kenneth “Kenny” Lee French, 56 of Ironton, died Friday, Nov. 26, 2010, at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, W.Va. The Ironton native was born Jan. 23, 1954, the son of the late Wilford and Louise Hutchinson French. He is survived by his wife Sally Lee Sagar French, whom he married Oct. 19, 1978.
Mr. French was a graduate of Rock Hill High School and was a Foreman at Woodland Cemetery. He attended Central Christian Church and loved fishing and enjoyed working on cars.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Willard French and Eugene French, and a sister, Betty Miller.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Becky French; two step-sons and daughters-in-law, John and Nancy Payne of Ironton, and Jim and Tracy Payne of Midland, Mich.; two sisters, Delores Pernestti of Ironton and Stella Clark; a brother, Rickey French; seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2010 at Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 South Seventh Street, Ironton, OH with Rev. Brent Baker officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery.
