Briggs Lawrence County Public Library invites everyone to donate to the library’s annual Mitten Tree campaign which begins Monday and runs through Friday, Dec. 17.

Donations of new mittens, gloves, scarves or hats for people of all ages will be used to decorate the Mitten Trees which will be on display at each library branch. Then the donations will be given to local charities in your area.

For each item donated, $1.00 in outstanding library fines (up to a maximum of $5.00) will be waived. Donations of nonperishable food items in excellent condition will also be accepted. Some restrictions apply for waiving fines. For complete details, call or visit your local Briggs Library location.
