Proctorville man among 20 indicted on various charges

A Proctorville man arrested in September on charges of aggravated vehicular assault, operating a vehicle while impaired, driving under suspension and failure to stop for a stop sign, was indicted by the Lawrence County Grand Jury on Oct. 21 and 22

Houston E. McClung, III, 34, of 14542 State Route 7, Proctorville, was indicted on those charges stemming from the September event when he didn’t stop for a stop sign and wrecked into another car, causing minor injuries.

Nineteen others were also indicted:

• James E. Roth, 38, of 5619 Nickle Road, Knoxville, Tenn., one count of receiving stolen property and one count of tampering with identifying numbers to conceal the identity of vehicle or vehicle parts.
• David J. Malanowski, 29, of Rural Route 2 Box 146 A, Ona, W.Va., one count of possession of crack-cocaine, one count of possessing drug abuse instruments and one count of illegal use or possession of paraphernalia.
• Michael S. Tipton, 23, of 95 Private Drive 1255, South Point, six counts of rape and six counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor.
• James M. Thompson, 33, of 204 Rockwood Avenue, Chesapeake, Ohio, one count of gross sexual imposition.
• Erin L. Campbell, 28, of 2226 10th Ave., Huntington, W.Va., one count of aggravated possession of drugs and one count of possession of drugs.
• Terry I. Unrue, 33, of 3028 South Fourth St., Ironton, Ohio, one count of breaking and entering, and two counts of endangering children.
• Kiah M. Maynard, 18, of 311 Township Road 1167, Proctorville, Ohio, one count of burglary, one count of grand theft, one count of theft, one count of complicity to aggravated burglary, one count of complicity to kidnapping, one count to disrupting public services and one count of complicity to theft from an elderly person.
• Buddy Lee Hardy, 27, and Tonya M. Hardy, 22, both of 25 Township Road, were each charged with one count of burglary.
• Scotty R. McDonald, 24, of 3538 County Road 31, Chesapeake, Ohio, one count of failure to comply with order or signal of a police officer.
• Brian K. Williams, 31, of 318 Monroe Street, Apt. 3, Ironton, Ohio, one count of aggravated possession of drugs.
• Waymon D. Smith, Jr., 21, of 412 High Street, Coal Grove, Ohio, one count of theft.
• Christopher L. Martin, 22, of 1524 South Fourth St., Ironton, Ohio, one count of aggravated possession of drugs.
• Nicholas C. Sycks, 23, of 3466 County Road 181, Ironton, Ohio, one count of aggravated possession of drugs and one count of failure to appear.
• Deanna M. Boggs, 20, of 133 Howard St., Coal Grove, Ohio, one count of corrupting another with drugs.
• Robin L. Black, 36, of 218 ? South Fourth St., Ironton, Ohio, one count of theft from an elderly person and one count of intimidation of victim or witness in a criminal case.
• Amy M. Ratcliff, 30, of 102 Carlyle St., Coal Grove, Ohio, one count of theft from an elderly person.
• Scott B. Ulery, 50, of 2110 South Ninth St., Ironton, Ohio, one count of grand theft.
• Russell L. Adkins, 30, of 826 C South 10th St., Ironton, Ohio, one count of domestic violence and one count of resisting arrest.
