Thanks for a successful IAA Fall Art Exhibit

Saturday, Oct. 2 was the Ironton Artists Association’s 36th annual Fall Art Exhibit. Thanks to all of the participating businesses, individuals and artists for making this a huge success.
The businesses donating purchase awards received art from the following: Phillips Funeral Home -artist Dianne Bryan, Bartram & Son Grocery-Lottie Fraley, Ohio River Bank-Clarice Kumkien, WesBanco-Kim Williams, The Ironton Tribune-Gail Kirtz, Ed Rambacher-Rosemary Imes, National City/PNC -Jeff Williams, Craig Allen, Atty- Jim Neff, Bob Clyse Chevy-GMC-Lily Dickens.
The Best of Show winners: Patti DelCheccolo-Fine Arts and Dianne Bryan-Photography. First Place winners:Oil-Kenneth Howell, Watercolor-Clarice Kumlien, Drawing media-Kenneth Howell, Mixed media-Helen Sellers, Beginners-Jonathan Howell, Children -Katie Cunningham, Special category-Fine Arts-Roger Frazier, Photography Special category -Ken Hollett.
Also, thanks to the following supporters for their donations, door prizes and ongoing recognition of area artists and the importance of art in the community: Sunset Memorial Gardens, The Greater Lawrence County Area Chamber of Commerce, Our Lady Of Bellefonte Hospital, Mayne Framing Supply, Cheap Joe’s Art Supply, Giovanni’s- Coal Grove, Ironton Physical Therapy, Peddler’s Home Cooking, Freez-Ette-Coal Grove, L & J Dairy Bar, Iron City Hardware, The Corner Diner, Bob Evans, The Grove Nursery, IAA members, Trish Franklin, and a hearty “thank you” to Central Christian Church for allowing us to again use their beautiful facility for our exhibit.
