Criminal trespass — 200 block of Marion Pike, Coal Grove, Tuesday, man hanging around gas station all evening and hid when deputy approached. Justin Lee Rainwater, 28, of 16350 W. Hopi Drive, Casa Grande, Ariz., arrested.

Driving under suspicion, expired tags, receiving stolen property – Township Road 508 and US 52 Tuesday, driver stopped for expired tags, car had been reported lost or stolen, Marquette D. Eanes, 38, of 113 Edgar St., St. Albans, W.Va., arrested.

Abandoned vehicle — intersection of County Road 15 and County Road 18, Sept. 21, 1991 Ford Ranger with tags registered to a Chevy Station Wagon found parked at intersection.

Burglary – 200 block of Township Road 1430, Apt. 22, South Point Sept. 20, house broken into, suspect left note. Suspect named.

Ironton Police

Prowlers – 1300 block of S. Fifth Street, 7:09 p.m. Tuesday, kids in caller’s neighbor’s carport. Caller said they left already, disregard.

Smell – Park Avenue Apartments 7:09 p.m. Tuesday-neighbor not seen recently, strong odor coming from apartment. Contacted manager, nothing out of the ordinary.

Trespassing – Seventh and Mill street 7:15 p.m. Tuesday, man inside fire truck, cleaning the hoses, owner said he just wants it logged that the guy was trespassing again.

Trouble – 1100 block of S. Third Street, 9:14 p.m. Tuesday – neighbors fighting. Parties separated and sent inside respective apartments.

Loud noises – CVS construction site, 10 p.m., caller said several people have complained about the noise of the backhoes and machinery at CVS. Crews quitting for the night.

Hit and run — 10th and Quincy, 3:10 a.m. Tuesday, man in a red car hit another car.

Injury accident — Fourth and Railroad 9 a.m. Tuesday, car broadsided, one injured.

Theft – 200 block of Rock Avenue 10:16 a.m. Tuesday, caller wants to make a theft report.

Accident – Second and Washington Street 2:59 p.m., Tuesday, car accident with injuries.

Abandoned bikes – 2500 S. Fourth Street, 3:10 p.m. two abandoned bikes in yard, caller wants to talk to officer about kid claiming them. Disregard, kid left, will call again if he returns.
