BURLINGTON — One person was taken to St. Mary’s Medical Center this morning following a collision between a garbage truck, owned by Knight Hauling & Trucking, and a GEO Tracker at County Road 1 and Township Road 101 near Wal-Mart in Burlington.

According to information from the Ohio State Highway Patrol, troopers remained on the scene as of press time. The incident happened just after 7:30 a.m.

The injured person was in the Tracker. Information on what caused the accident was not immediately available.
