I don’t know if this will get printed or not, but to all pet owners, please, for God’s sake, have your pet spayed or neutered.

I had a cat I could not afford to have her spayed. She got pregnant recently and went into labor.

I could not afford to take her to the vet. I called every vet I could think of.

No one would help her unless I put up $500 to $1,000 up front for her C-section.

Well, to make things worse the humane society in Ironton and Help for Animals in West Virginia both refused to help her.

She had to be put down May 12 because no vets no one would help her.

I even asked what would happen to me if I brought her in and left her. I was told they would get me for abandonment. But they will let her die and not help her.

So I’m begging, please, please, if you have a pet, get it spayed or neutered for their sake.

I found out I could have gotten her spayed after I had her put down.
