Domestic violence shelter needs your support

The staff and board members of the Lawrence County Domestic Violence Task Force would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the organizations, agencies, churches, private donors and everyone who faithfully supported and contributed to our shelter in 2009.
The LCDVTF provides shelter and court advocacy to victims of domestic violence in Lawrence County and the surrounding areas.
We are a small agency with funding resources that are very minimal.
We are required to have a 25 percent monthly cash match from community donations, therefore, it is key that the community support the shelter in order for us to maintain our staff and keep the doors of the shelter open.
We struggle from day to day to effectively run our shelter and operate it resourcefully.
Our shelter is here to serve victims of domestic violence in Lawrence County, but we really need community support in order for our shelter to survive.
Therefore, if you have a desire or need to contribute to a worthy cause, please keep our shelter in mind.
Any donations we receive, no matter how large or small, are greatly needed and appreciated.
All contributions can be sent to the LCDVTF at P.O. Box 311, Ironton, OH 45638.
Again, to all those who have contributed to the shelter in the past, we hope you will continue to support our shelter in the future and we thank you so much.
