SOUTH POINT — Monte Ray Hawthorne, 45 of South Point, died Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2009.
He was born June 9, 1964 to Patricia Webb Hawthorne of South Point and the late Bill Hawthorne.
He is survived by his mother, Patricia; one daughter, Laura; two sons, Matthew and Austin Hawthorne of South Point; two sisters, Sarah Eldridge of South Point and Laura McCormick of Barboursville, W.Va.; two brothers Wes and Timmy Hawthorne of South Point and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Scott Hawthorne; grandparents, Scott and Clara Webb and Ned and Rachel Hawthorne.
Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Goodall-Hawthorne Cemetery, Chesapeake, with David Ashworth officiating. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www. time for memory.com/hall.
