JUNIOR ROSS

WILLOW WOOD — Junior Ross, 82, of Willow Wood, died Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2009, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Ky.
The Lawrence County native was born June 5, 1927, the son of the late William and Janie Massie Ross.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Clara Mae Faddis Ross, who died Jan.18, 2003.
He attended Wilgus Schools, was a laborer and operator for Mike Deluico & Sons, and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by a son, Robert Ross; six brothers, Earl Ross, Willie Ross, Fred Ross, Charles Ross, Harold Ross, and Gerald Ross; five sisters: Mary Blevins, Ann Sturgill, Alice Higgins, Hazel Hill, and Rose Ross and four nephews and four nieces.
He is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Marilyn and Carl Brown of Richmond, Ind., Nancy and Dana Clay of Willow Wood, and Mary George of Andersonville, Tenn.; a son and daughter-in-law, Steven H. and Tama Ross of Richmond, Ind.; a brother and sister-in-law, Owen and Liz Ross of Crown City; 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren on the way.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Phillips Funeral Home with the Rev. Eddie Salmons officiating. Burial will follow in Wilgus Fairview Cemetery.
