Raiders hold off Redmen

The River Valley Raiders rallied in the fourth quarter to get past the Rock Hill Redmen 68-63 Friday in an Ohio Valley Conference game.
Rock Hill (5-8, 2-4) led 49-44 after three quarters, but the Raiders got hot from the field and outscored the Remden 24-14 in the final quarter.
The Redmen trailed just 61-59 with 51 seconds to play, but the Raiders (5-8, 3-3) were able to hang on for the win.
Jeremy Blagg scored 15 points to lead four Rock Hill players in double figures. Brandon Klaiber scored 14, Sam Cooke 12 and Dustin Chandler had 11.
Clayton Curnutte scored 19 and Cody McAvena 17 to lead River Valley. The duo combined for six 3-point goals.
Zak Deel added 12 and Kody Johnson 11 for the Raiders.
River Valley led 16-15 after the first quarter, but Rock Hill came back to take a 34-32 halftime lead.
Rock Hill was 9-of-15 from the foul line and River Valley was 14-of-19.
