KITTS HILL — A unidentified man suffered minor injuries after a fire broke out in a house on County Road 5 in Kitts Hill in the early morning hours Thursday.

According to Shane Cartmill of the State Fire Marshal’s Office, the man escaped through a window when the blaze erupted. The Lawrence Township Fire Department responded to the fire.

As of Friday investigators were unable to determine the cause or origin of the fire. There were no smoke detectors in the single-family house.
