Jade Alyssa Jiles, 5 months, of Ironton went home to be with God Friday Jan. 16, 2009. She was born Aug. 10, 2008, at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, WVa., the daughter of Brittany Jiles.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandfather, Arthur “Poke” Jiles.
In addition to her mother, Jade is survived by grandparents, Dana Jiles and Mike Kincaid of Ironton; grandfather, Jeff Jiles of Pedro; uncles, Josh and Jesse Jiles both of Ironton, and Jeff Lindemeyer of Troy Mich.; great-grandmother, Stella Jiles of Ironton; great-grandparents, Danny and Sandy McKnight of Ironton; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Phillips Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Jiles officiating. Burial will follow in Lawrence Furnace Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Wednesday. Donations may be made in Jade’s name to the Spinal Muscular Atrophy Foundation 888 Seventh Ave., Suite 400 New York, N. Y. 10019.
