CHESAPEAKE — Susan Miller, 61, of Chesapeake, wrote the final page in her book, Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2008, at her residence.
Susan was born Nov. 6, 1946, in Huntington, W.Va., a daughter of the late Sanford Benjamin and Betty Nickols Bryant. Susan was a member of Bethel Ridge Baptist Church for the last 44 years. She was a much loved and admired teacher in the Chesapeake School System, retiring after 35 years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, William Sanford Bryant.
Susan is survived by her husband of 40 years, Warren Miller; sons, Warren Todd (Kristen) Miller, of South Point, and Brent Joseph (Catherine) Miller of Jackson; five grandchildren; and a host of friends and former students.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Robertson officiating. Burial will follow at Woodmere Cemetery, Huntington, W.Va. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Condolences may be expressed at www.schneidergriifin.com.
