We cannot change God#8217;s Word for a different lifestyle

Today, I am reminded of the scripture in Hebrews 13:8, “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and forever.” Also, Matthew 24:35, “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my word shall not pass away.”
Sad to say this, but in today’s world, too many people do not believe the two verses that are quoted above and ignore them completely because we are living in a new society.
From the first generation up to now, people have tried to change God’s word to conform to what man believes, however it didn’t worked then nor will it work now.
And here are some of the people who tried to change God’s plan and substitute their own plan.
In Genesis 4:3, “In the process of time Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the lord. This was not what God required therefore he rejected it.
“Without the shedding of blood, there is no remission of sins.” Cain tried his way and failed.
Also in I Samuel 13:9-10, Saul the first man king of Israel tried to offer up a sacrifice and burnt offering which was to be made by Samuel.
God again rejected him and his offering, he was given a second chance which he also failed when he didn’t obey the Lord in I Samuel 15:20, God took his kingdom from him for his disobedience.
History should be a good teacher, however people now think that they can change God’s word and he will accept it.
Today, we have so-called “preachers” who think they have the authority to change God’s word to include homosexuals in the ministry and that God will overlook their lifestyle.
Both the people and the preacher are dead wrong.
They need to read Romans 1:26-29 and the preacher needs to read verse 32 of the same chapter which says “who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
If you belong to a church that teaches that this is okay, you had better be finding a church that isn’t afraid of preaching the truth of God’s word.
I’m not telling you that a homosexual, nor any other sinner cannot be saved, for Christ died for the sins of all men
However, when you repent this means to turn from what you are doing and become a new person.
In II Corinthians 5:17, therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away behold, all things are become new.
To turn from means you are now going in another direction away from your sinful past and trying to please God by doing his will, not trying to establish your own.
I have much more to write about, but time and space will not allow in the paper today.
Repent and receive Jesus Christ as your personal savior, today. Tomorrow may be too late.
As the word of God stated at the top of this paper, we do not have the authority to change God’s word, and have Him accept it.
