Lincoln Day Dinner set for March 28

Presidential Advisor J. Scott Jennings will be the keynote speaker for the Lawrence County Republican Club’s annual Lincoln Day Dinner.
The annual event will be 6:30 p.m. March 28 at Dawson-Bryant High School.
Jennings, 28, is a special assistant to President George Bush and is also deputy white house political director. A native of Western Kentucky, Jennings graduated from Dawson Springs High School in 1996 and earned a B.A. in political science from University of Louisville in 2000. His education also included a trip to China where studied East Asian economics.
His political career has also included directing the president’s 2004 campaign in New Mexico, directing U.S. Sen. Mitch McConnell’s 2002 campaign and Kentucky Gov. Ernie Fletcher’s 2003 gubernatorial campaign.
Tickets for the annual event are $20. Reservations must be made by today. Information and tickets may be obtained from Republican party members.
