Animal Planet celeb to be at Spring Fling

ASHLAND, Ky.— A nationally known television celebrity will be the featured guest at the third annual Spring Fling event to be at the Ashland Boyd County Dog Park.
Jay Stutz, host of Animal Planet’s “Good Dog U” will appear at 12:15 p.m. Saturday as part of the day-long activities at the dog park that serves the Tri-State area.
The Spring Fling will also include contests for King and Queen of the Fling; contests for the biggest dog, smallest dog and other notables; a demonstration by the Boyd County, Ky., Sheriff’s Office K-9 unit; a silent auction and a microchip clinic.
The Spring Fling will be held from noon to 5 p.m. The dog park is located in Summit near the Fraley Field Athletic Complex, which is located behind Boyd County Middle School.
