The Greenup, Ky., woman accused of robbing the U.S. Bank branch at Third and Jones streets was arraigned Thursday in Ironton Municipal Court.

Judge O. Clark Collins set bond at $250,000 for Natalie Carter, 28, who is charged with aggravated robbery. He ordered her to return to court April 6 for a preliminary hearing and appointed David Reid Dillon as her attorney.

Carter was arrested at a Coryville area residence Monday evening after Ironton police received a tip she was there. She was taken into custody without incident.

Meanwhile, Ironton Police Detective Jim Akers said the search continues for the man accused of driving the getaway car in the heist. However, he said Willis Cochran has not yet been charged in connection with the Ironton bank hold up.

Carter reportedly held up the bank just before 11 a.m. March 7. She handed a note to a teller and then fled after getting money. She reportedly got into a beige van.
